The
Group manufactures all of the wood preservatives it markets.
It owns and operates a purpose-built pesticide manufacturing plant,
which stands next to its headquaters in the Kepong Industrial Area.
The plant comprises many different facilities to manufacture the Celcure
range of products, amongst those being the Arsenic Acid plant which
uses Rentokil's patented process providing an economical means of
manufacture.
Rentokil's process is highly regarded in the industry and was awarded
the Queen's Award (UK) for Technological Achievement in 1983 in due
recognition of the advanced nature of the process.
The current capacity of the plant is sufficient to more than meet
the local and export demands, and the plant is equipped for further
expansion in the near future. |
